    About Us
The MLK Bolivarian Circle of Boston was founded in 2003 by Venezuelans living in Boston, and quickly grew to include North Americans. The Circle engages in a continuous process of self education and has conducted numerous educational programs at schools and public venues. It has sent three research and collaboration delegations to Venezuela and played a central role in organizing the Boston-area delegation to the World social Forum in Caracas in January of 2006. The Circle is part of a national campaign to stop the release of a Sony video game of a US invasion of Venezuela to overthrow the Venezuelan government, and has a local campaign to establish a Latin American Independence Park in Boston. We are constantly seeking opportunities to put on educational programs. We hold regular meetings once or twice a month in a central Boston location, currently at Encuentro 5, 33 Harrison Street, 5th floor, in Boston’s Chinatown, a meeting place for many other progressive groups and events.
